As I LOVE the look of Skinny Jeans and think it is totally a sex-kitten look, as a girl with some curves to my figure I am not completely sad that they aren't the trend for 2011. I've always loved the Hippie-Disco appeal of the flared or belled pant. I think they make the legs look longer (with the right heels of course) and with  a fitted top its going to be a great look for this year.  

With the 70's in full swing, and Napa Valley as my stomping grounds it makes me want to pop in "Bottleshock" and get some wardrobe inspiration. I Loved Rachel Taylors wardrobe/look in that movie!!!!

Why wait? Wear it !

How many times have we falling in love with a garment, outfit or pair of amazing pumps and we tell our selves, "This will be perfect for this special event" or " I can't wait to wear these heels out." I myself have done this often and too many times my closet gets fuller and fuller and that amazing piece gets lost among the hangers and I forget about it or that special event never happened. So why wait? Clothes are made to be worn and wear them often! I say if you love a piece, get it and wear the hell out of it. If we spend life waiting for that perfect time to wear that outfit we'll be waiting forever and miss out! So throw on those pumps, your favorites jeans, the Chanel pearls and that new amazing top you've been saving and enjoy it!  If you love something find new innovative ways to wear it often and achieving a different look each time. Accessorize your favorite pieces! Have a glass of wine or bubbly and feel amazing! Life is too short to save a good bottle of wine or that fabulous dress in hopes of something special, as we have witnessed over the past few days , disaster can strike at any time and life is often to short so lets live in the moment and enjoy our love for amazing pieces and get some use out of them. After all that is why we love Fashion right, for the thrill of looking and feeling AMAZING!

Sunny Day in the Bay... What to wear?

Yes the weather woman said it, it's going to be a Fabulous winter day in the Bay, 70's... I'm LOVING! So yes after this mornings weather report my first question to myself is what to wear??? As it's winter I'm heading to the back of my closet and going to grab a MAXI dress and pair it with a long sweater - but probably more likely a blazer (my jacket of choice). Just in case the weather girl was being optimistic I'm packing my scarf (360 cashmere) and my Fedora. There's nothing worse than feeling and looking amazing... and then shivering. Definitely not attractive. Footwear : I'm thinking some Gladiators - yes, I love this trend, whether its come or gone. Although I wish I was waking up by the Ocean in Sunny Huntington Beach, I'm embracing the Bay with open arms and my good ol' faves from my wardrobe.

The daughter of an Iconic Rock n Roll legend turns into quite the Gorgeous Fashionista.  Once known for her outrageous hair color, many tattoos and mouth like a sailor, Miss Osbourne has transformed into quite the lady. Her Monroe blonde locks and rockin body are definitely something to envy. Her presence on the E! Network’s fashion police is refreshing and so enjoyable and I love her red carpet input. I think Kelly Osborne is an inspiration for many women showing not only can you rock the "rock n roll" look but you can dress like a lady and still be feminine. Her transformation is inspiring and like the ever changing fashion industry Kelly Osbourne shows that people can change too.  For those who know me, know I Love ink and even though she is getting some of her tattoos removed She  still looks AMAZING and I love, love, love her style. She also has replaced Taylor Momsen as the face of the line “Material Girl” for Macy’s by Madonna.

My Shopping Bag: Burberry, Kensie, Edelman, Top Gun & Ella Moss

A fabulous day shopping in El Dorado Hills and Roseville CA and I have to share my finds!!!! I spent the day out with my mother at Studio-T, Nordstrom and Crossroads. We found some fabulous deals, amazing new flats and some Military gear to brag about. I LOVE my new "Top Gun" jacket. It's brown leather with Military inspired patches adorning it. It's classic - it sold out! I'm so lucky I got to be one of the first to snag it. I also found some wonderful flats for my spring wardrobe. My favorite are the new Burberry peep toe flats... literally will go with anything, and dress up my T & Jeans. We hit the sales racks at Nordys and got some great Items from Kensie and also some great basics from Ella Moss. Needless to say it was an amazing day of shopping and girl time. I also sold my out of season denim and shoes and made out.... I was able to make $250 by selling my goods to consignment store Crossroads. I definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to go shopping on a recession budget.

Fashionista Day in EDH - Crossroads Bound!

So I'm taking a break from the Bay for the Day and heading North to El Dorado Hills.

I'll be spending the day with a very Fashionable Lady, My mother. We plan to visit Studio -T Boutique to check out the new merchandise and possibly Up Town Girl in Town center and grab a bite to eat at Bistro 33 and then home to Napa for the evening and Some Pinot Grigio with my Husband. El Dorado Hills is absolutely gorgeous... The town has everything a girl needs: Boutiques, salons, fabulous food, and night time hot spots! If Only it was Sunday and I could pop into Sienna for my FAV Spicy Bloody Mary.... soon... soon.

On my way home I'll be making a pit stop at Crossroads Trading Co to sell off my clothes to put towards my spring wardrobe, actually towards the Jimmy Choo Motorcycle boots I'm obsessed with.  For those who don't know, Crossroads buys your used clothes at 30% of what they will sell them for. So I won't be making a ton, but every little bit helps. The things we do for fashion!!!!

What's in Your bag???

Ah, The Mysterious handbag! A woman's lifeline and we don't leave home without it. Full of necessities and silly "others" that help us get through the day.  Of course I've left out a few items because random receipts, cough drops and gum don't photograph as nicely... and also left out is my camera that I ALWAYS have with me to capture the latest fashions and happy memories.

My Bag of Essentials

My Hot Red Bag : Tory Burch

 My bag is armed with tons of pockets and storage space and I love the shoulder strap if I am going to be out in the bay for the day. And of Course my LV wallet. The best wallet I've ever had and have had for years. Love my Louis gear!

I always have my cosmetic bag in my purse or my car. I love this colorfully pink bag by Coach. It was a gift from my dear sister-in-law and i LOVE it. It's filled with my cosmetics, nail accessories, hair brush and other girly items. Thanks Lis !!!

Ormedic Lip Enhancing Complex: A fancy lip moisturizer

Thanks to my mother I am in LOVE with this lip moisturizer. It has a slight citrus taste and smell and leaves your lips feeling smooth and hydrated. It's like an ice cold class of water for your lips. When I spend a weekend in the cold or up in Tahoe my lips take a beating and I can not go without this stuff.

Cils Booster is amazing. If you need a boost to your lashes and added length and volume I highly recommend it. You can find it wherever Lancome is sold.

MAC Viva Glam VI : This color is a couple season's old, but was my favorite shade.

I'm not huge on lipstick or gloss, but I can't go without it, because on occasion when snap shots are being taken a lil' lipstick does the trick for an extra pop of color!

These were featured in the latest Nordstrom catalogue and were a birthday present. The are my favorite glasses right now, and yes they even look Fabulous on men! My husband forgot his on our outing at Pier 39 and borrowed them, and I must say he almost rocked them better than me!!!


MY Passport!!! No, I'm not traveling, but waiting on my new CA Drivers License to come in the mail, and we all know how the CA DMV works.

And of course a nail kit. This is essential. There is nothing worse than snagging a nail or needing a quick fix and having nothing around. This Kit was from Pier-1 imports.
